Zoë Miyori Fujii Identity

I’m lucky to have a friend in the talented designer, Zoë Miyori Fujii. Zoë designs her own line (available on Etsy), and is gaining attention for her original and fun patterns, as well as the easy and feminine wearability of her designs.

I designed her original logo in 2011, and recently we decided it was time for a makeover. Zoë creates all her own original prints, so we wanted the logo to show a lot of personality as well, through hand-type. The monogram is inspired in part by Newcomb Pottery marks and Japanese porcelain marks; Zoë is half-Japanese, and pulls a lot of inspiration from her heritage.

Together, we are now working on applying the new identity to her site, and the logo will also be used for printed items (such as tags and labels) for her pieces.
